Diocese of Buffalo Tweets

From the Diocesan website:

Diocese of Buffalo “tweets” on Twitter

As part of an ongoing diocesan communications strategy to have a social networking presence, the Diocese of Buffalo is now on Twitter, the a real-time short messaging service that works over multiple networks and devices, including PC’s, laptops and mobile phones.

We’re using Twitter to send brief updates about the Church of Buffalo . This can be a helpful tool in quickly communicating internally, with the media and with people who are interested in following the life of the diocese.

Diocesan “tweets” have included information about a Mass this weekend at Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna for those touched adoption, a brief on Bishop Edward U. Kmiec’s visit today to Allegany to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Allegany Franciscan Sisters, and a congratulatory message on this week’s appointment of Bishop Robert J. Cunningham as the new bishop of Syracuse.
